Truth Talks program

Truth Talks Bible studies were born out of a desire to build deeper relationships and share biblical truth in the time between our monthly camps. Over time, these gatherings have grown and evolved into weekly sessions with boys’ groups in the community.
Truth Talks creates a meaningful space for teaching, discussion, and spiritual growth. Our dedicated volunteers give their time and hearts tirelessly, and we’re continually encouraged by the long-term relationships being formed—relationships that are bearing fruit in the lives of these young people through salvation, maturity, and transformation.
We are incredibly thankful and excited for the work the Lord is doing through this vital part of the ministry.

mentoring program

One of the foundational verses of Three Circles Foundation is Titus 2:6-8:"Encourage the young men to be self-controlled. In everything set them an example by doing what is good. In your teaching show integrity, seriousness, and soundness of speech that cannot be condemned, so that those who oppose you may have nothing bad to say about us."
This passage offers key principles for mentorship:
● Be encouraging● Help youth understand the consequences of a lack of self-control● Live in a way that sets a strong example—your actions are watched more closely than you may realize● Teach with honesty, integrity, and purpose● Always be sincere—kids can easily recognize dishonesty● Be present, listen well, and value each moment and its potential impact● Speak carefully and with intention● Stay spiritually alert—darkness is always at work● Live beyond reproach in every area

At Three Circles, nearly everything we do can be considered mentoring. Each mentor-mentee relationship is unique, unfolding at its own pace and lasting for different durations. We take the responsibility seriously, providing structure, oversight, and accountability to ensure these relationships remain healthy, safe, and life-giving.
Experiential Monthly Group MentoringAt our monthly day camps, adult volunteers mentor groups of youth—many of whom come from challenging home environments. We create hands-on experiences through community service (Footwashings), Bible teaching and storytelling, and real-life skill-building adventures that make lasting impressions.
Weekly Group MentoringEach week, one or two adult volunteers spend time with youth at the Open Door Children’s Home. This might look like a Bible study, a movie night, a park outing, or simply sharing ice cream together. We also offer rides to attend Sunday church services, helping deepen connection and community.
One-on-One MentoringWhen a volunteer and camper choose to go beyond our group settings, they may enter a one-on-one mentoring relationship. This includes three key phases:
Phase 1: Role Model MentoringA camper and mentor, along with their family and our staff, commit to a weekly mentoring relationship. The goal is to provide a consistent Christian role model, emotional support, stability, and accountability. We also want youth to see their value to the community and recognize their own God-given potential. Role model mentoring typically begins in one of three ways:
     ● Preventive – No crisis is present, and we aim to keep things steady and healthy.     ● Interventive – There’s a crisis underway, and we’re working to prevent it from escalating.     ● Post-Crisis – The youth has already faced significant consequences, such as incarceration, behavioral treatment, or removal from home, and we’re walking with them through recovery.
Phase 2: Life Skills MentoringAs trust deepens, we begin a more structured approach to personal development. We tackle topics like budgeting, job readiness, college applications, driving safety, and more—equipping them for adulthood.
Phase 3: DiscipleshipFor those who have given their lives to Christ, this phase focuses on intentional spiritual growth. Mentors walk alongside them as they learn how to live out their faith and build their identity in Christ.
